Invite connection into your life – one visit at a time
Visiting Companions pairs older adults with trained volunteers for meaningful, in-person visits. Based on shared interests and location, you and your companion can create a schedule that works — whether weekly, biweekly, or something in between.
How It Works
Here's what to expect when you sign up:
Phone Assessment
We’ll talk with you by phone to learn about your interests and what kind of visits would be meaningful to you.
Matching Process
We match based on availability, location, and shared interests. Due to high demand, matching may take some time.
Scheduled Visits
You and your companion agree on a visit schedule that works.
All volunteers are background-checked and trained by Friends & Co staff.
